Meteorology Certificate

The AOS Meteorology Certificate provides a clear and credible route into the field of weather and climate services. This certificate program is fully aligned with the Meteorology 1340 Series occupational standards and meets the academic requirements for employment as a Meteorologist with the National Weather Service (NWS). Upon successful completion of the designated coursework, students receive a certificate endorsed by NOAA’s National Weather Service, validating their preparation for federal and other professional opportunities in meteorology.
