AOS would like to welcome Pablo Saide to our department.

A message from AOS department chair, Jochen Stutz, welcoming our new assistant professor.

Please join me in welcoming Assistant Professor Pablo Saide to our department and the Institute of the Environment and Sustainability.

Pablo  is a very talented junior atmospheric chemist with a research focus on the development and application of sophisticated regional computer models. With these models he studies highly relevant topics related to air quality, severe weather, and climate change. Pablo is also interested in applying his expertise and developed the first effective air quality forecasting system for Santiago de Chile, one of the most polluted cities in South-America.

Pablo is currently a researcher National Center for Atmospheric Research. He and his wife, Paula, will move to Los Angeles at the beginning of next year.
