UCLA researchers address challenges cities face from climate change

UCLA Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences professor Alex Hall is a panelist at a climate change conference held at UCLA today, November 14, 2014, presenting his research that by mid century, temperatures in the great Los Angeles area will increase 4 to 5 degress along with a snowfall decrease of 30 to 40 percent due to climate change. Professor J. David Neelin also contributed to the research reports, that is lead by professor Hall. The reports are published by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate change which assess global climate change simulations for the United Nations.
