Yue Dong joins AOS as Assistant Professor

AOS is delighted to announce the hiring of Dr. Yue Dong, who will be joining the department as an Assistant Professor next academic year in 2024.  Dr. Dong is a climate scientist studying climate dynamics and climate change. Her research focuses on large-scale coupled climate interactions and their impact on climate sensitivity and the global energy budget. Dr. Dong’s group is accepting graduate applications this year, with potential research topics including extratropical-tropical interactions, the Southern Ocean and Antarctic climate, global surface warming patterns, and climate sensitivity.
