Geochemistry Fellowship: Aradhna Tripati

AOS Faculty member Aradhna Tripati has been elected a Fellow of the Geochemical Society and the European Association of Geochemisty. Aradhna is recognized for fundamental contributions to carbonate clumped isotope geochemistry including equilibrium and kinetic isotope fractionations, development as a paleoceanographic proxy through pioneering work on foraminifera, applications to paleoclimate, mentorship, and contributions to diversity including with the Center for Diverse Leadership in Science and service to the geochemistry and geosciences communities. Fellowships are bestowed annually by the Geochemical Society and European Association of Geochemistry upon outstanding scientists who have, over some years, made a major contribution to the field of geochemistry. Prior Fellows from UCLA include Mark Harrison, Kevin McKeegan, Ed Young, and Craig Manning.
