<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am a climate scientist studying climate dynamics and climate change. My research focuses on large-scale interactions in the coupled climate system, such as atmosphere-ocean interactions and tropics-extratropics teleconnections, and how these dynamic processes are coupled with the Earth’s radiative responses and climate sensitivity to anthropogenic and natural forcings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I use climate models (both complex global climate models and idealized conceptual models) and observations to better understand the fundamental physics of the coupled climate system. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
