Understanding them requires ideas to move freely between theory and observation, laboratory and simulation, fundamental discovery and operational need. Our group is built around that movement.<\/p><p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#557080;font-size:19px;line-height:1.75\">We study how waves and particles exchange energy, how radiation environments evolve, and how those processes affect spacecraft, technology, and people.
