Postdoctoral research positions on fire, air quality, and aerosol modeling, UCLA

The UCLA’s department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (https://www.atmos.ucla.edu/) seeks two postdoctoral scholars to lead and support activities on multiple projects within Prof. Pablo Saide research lab. These include:

Desired qualifications include a Ph.D. in atmospheric science, physics, engineering, or a related field, strong quantitative and programming skills, experience on running and/or developing air quality, atmospheric composition, coupled aerosol-climate, and/or fire spread models, be familiar with model evaluation using various observational datasets, and strong scientific writing skills.

The appointments are for two years, renewable for up to three years pending satisfactory performance and continued funding. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled.
