Roger Varney joins AOS as Assistant Professor

AOS is delighted to announce the hiring of Dr. Roger Varney, who will be joining the department as an Assistant Professor on July 1, 2022, and will be partially supported by the NSF Faculty Development for Space Sciences award to UCLA. Dr. Varney is an expert in ionospheric physics and the coupling of the ionosphere to the magnetosphere and the neutral atmosphere.  Welcome to the department Roger!
