Zoom Seminar
Southern California has a long history as the national epicenter of not only poor air quality, but also air quality science and progressive environmental policies. The South Coast Air Quality Management District is the local air quality agency responsible for achieving federal ambient air quality standards and adopting and enforcing regulations on stationary sources to reduce emissions. This seminar will provide background on the air quality challenge that we face in the South Coast Basin, potential solutions, and how early career scientists and engineers can help us in our mission to achieve clean air for all our residents.
