As we near the end of this calendar year, we are reminded of all that we are grateful for, including the many accomplishments, contributions and support of our AOS community. The past couple years have required a level of grit, flexibility and creativity like never before. Throughout it all we have remained committed to providing students an excellent educational experience, fostering a sense of community for everyone within our department, and continuing to make tremendous advancements in research that addresses our planet's most pressing problems.
We're so excited to announce the publication of our inaugural newsletter, AOS News Fall 2021 edition, which includes some of these stories!
The focus of this publication is to highlight some of the people, research and initiatives that make an impact in the atmospheric and oceanic sciences community and public at large. The newsletter’s intent is to celebrate our shared values, experiences, and expertise, and bring attention to the impact AOS students, faculty, and donors are making on our planet. We hope you enjoy it as much as we loved creating it.
